We are continuing the process of planting City Free as an official church. Mission Igniter (church planting organization through the Free Methodist Church) has been helping us navigate next steps.  Alongside that process, we still have our weekly youth and women's gatherings. Additionally, we have continued in partnership with the Jackson Interfaith Shelter (JIS) to hold "Porch Church" once a month. This past month, individuals who stopped by shared what they were grateful for as an expression of worship.

At our bi-monthly dinner church slot at JIS in September, we got to meet with, hear their stories, and then baptize 5 individuals. It was a beautiful night despite the heat! We have continued with our monthly worship on the North side in partnership with Village Hope Church and help church at Cascades this past month as well. It has been a joy to see God moving amidst hardships, triumphs, sweet moments, heaviness, etc. He is always moving and we a grateful we get to be a part of His kingdom here in Jackson.
