Welcome to JFM’s monthly prayer update!
This is a NEW way we can be praying together as a church! Every month will rotate through our 4 new church vision points with specific prayer prompts & practices. We are also going to include family prompts you can use with your kids & a ministry spotlight so we can be praying over our teams. At the bottom there will always be a spot to share your prayer requests with us!

Rooted Discipleship
Our vision: JFM will be a church where spiritual formation is the culture, not a program.

- Pray for our current groups as they study and practice these rhythms together.
- Pray for new disciple makers.
- Pray for our youth and kids ministry as they teach our next generation these rhythms.
- Pray for our fall Rooted groups that are finishing up right now.
- Pray for all the people that will go through Rooted in 2027.
- Pray for new group leaders for the Rooted experience.
Prayer Practice
There are so many ways to practice prayer! Each prayer update will include a prayer practice that you can use if you'd like! This month's practice is using the P. R. A. Y. acronym.

Family Prayer Prompts
Prayer Practice for KIDS!
This is a great prayer practice to use with your kids. Take it one step at a time and ask questions!
P - Praise — God, You are amazing! Together list off some ways that God amazes you!
R - Repent — God, I’m sorry. Please forgive me! Are there things you need to ask for forgiveness for?
A - Ask — God, please help me and others! Who in your life needs help? Ask God to help them! Remember God always knows the perfect way to help!
Y - Yield — God, I trust You and will follow You! Is there something you are worried about you need to trust God with?
If you want a physical resource to use with your kids, these are a great option!
Ministry Spotlight: Prayer Team!
Prayer Prompts:
Along with our new prayer update, we are also looking for new pray-ers! If you want to spend time in specific prayer for the people of our church & pray on Sunday mornings during our services, we would love to have you! This is a commitment because prayer is so important to our church. As a volunteer role, it is flexible because you can pray anywhere, anytime!
- Pray over the leaders that are providing encouragement and direction to this team.
- Pray for new volunteers that love to pray.
- Pray for people who are willing to share their requests with the team.
- Pray that the Lord will encourage the team through answered prayers!
- If you know someone on the prayer team, reach out to them and pray for them specifically!
