JULY UPDATE!
Hey team!!!
I hope you are enjoying your summer so far! June was crazyyyy full and fun! A big THANK YOU to everyone who jumped in to help with Father's Day, VBS, and Sunday Funday. During VBS I personally got to talk with several new families that shared how welcomed they have felt here. Great job 🙌
New this month! Our "Gold cards" are officially retiring. We are making this change for a few reasons - our new system has some automatic features that make my job easier (yayyy!!!), the paper cards have been used less and less frequently now that we have a New Families desk, and honestly reading quick handwritten contact info wasn't always easy haha. So! What are we doing instead??? We have a digital "I'm New" form. This form can be found by scanning the QR code (by the welcome flag & Next steps desk) and can also be found on our website at the bottom of our "I'm New"page. We still want to offer free donuts if people want them, so once they fill out the form, they will see the screen pictured below that has a digital free donut message! Cafe crew, if someone shows you this, you can just thank them & give them an extra welcome!

Sunday Funday!
Heads up 4th Sunday team! The last Sunday of the month will be a bit more chaotic because of all the fun!
We still need a few more volunteers to help with setup, food, activities, tear down, etc. If you are already serving on the last Sunday, or would be willing to switch your serve week to be able to help, let me know! This is also a great opportunity to invite someone who isn't on our regular team to serve with you! Bring your grandkid, a friend, someone from your small group! This isn't a commitment to the whole summer, just let me know which month you'd be willing to help with :)
We need help with:
Setup: 8-8:30
Food Prep: 9 - 10
Serving Food: 10-10:45ish & 11:30-12:15ish
Clean-up: 12:15

While this won't have every single thing going on in our church because that would be a very long list, we are working to keep it more up to date! You can find this at anytime on the app or website & each event has more info available when you click on it.
