Thank You SAU Students

Thanks to the SAU students that volunteered a morning in Compassion Ministries.  A team came and sorted, cleaned and organized as well as putting together a cart.  They were jobs that were needed.

We appreciate your service!

How Can You Support Townsend Back Packs?

PRAY:
  1. That students and families feel loved and supported by receiving weekend food support.
  2. With the increase of food costs, we are also looking for financial support.  Each food bag costs approximately $5 - $8 per week.  You can give online by choosing JFM Food Ministry or if you are paying by check put Food Ministry in the memo line.  
  3. Purchasing basic food items that are used on a regular basis - 12oz jars of peanut butter, 10-12 oz boxes of cereal, canned corn or green beans.  Purchased items can be put in the blue carts by the west & south entrances or the cart by the commons bathrooms.

Prayer Changes Things

  • Pray that relationships can be developed during bag deliveries at Townsend.
  • Pray for food costs to stabilize - this would help our guests and the JFM Feeding Program.
  • Pray that God continues to guide the direction of the ministry.
