Summer is Rolling On........

Summer is quickly rolling by!  Central Free continues to consistently show up and build relationships in the neighborhood.  We share laughs, we listen, and we love our time spent in the neighborhood.   We continue to hold our Community Lunches on the 2nd Sunday of the month and our 4th Monday Bingo, Dinner and Devotions.  While sharing a meal we continue to invest in building relationships.  

YOU ARE NEEDED!

Matthew 9:37-38
"The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.

We are making great strides in the neighborhood, but there is so much more that can happen with additional volunteers.  We are looking for the following:

  1. Additional people to come hang out at our Community events.  
  2. People to help transport our friends to our events and to church on Sunday.  
  3. A photographer to take pictures at our events and at Mobile Grocery.   
  4. Food team that would create menus, shop, cook and help set up and serve. 
  5. Thursday Mobile Grocery volunteers from 12:15 - 2:00.

The goal is to create 1:1 or small group relationships to really pour into our friends.  This would create opportunities to have deeper spiritual conversations, and help our friends learn about personal faith or to develop their faith.

Central Prayer Requests

Please pray for the following Central Free requests:

1.  Pray Matthew 9:37-38 - "The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.
2.  Pray that the Holy Spirit comes into the neighborhood and touches the lives of the residents.
3.  Pray for the continued building of relationships in the neighborhood.
4.  Pray for the emotional and physical health of people in the neighborhood.

We Need You!

We are looking to add to our Central Free team.  We could use help in the following areas:
1.   Food Team - this team would menu plan, prep and prepare food for Central Free events.
2.  Transportation - we have friends that want to attend Sunday services at JFM, but have no transportation.  We would also like to do activities out of the neighborhood.  Sites would vary.
3.  We need a handy person who would be able to do odd jobs for Central Free and Compassion Ministries.
