City Free has had a super sweet August! Pastor Tim and Courtlyn have had some time to lay some groundwork for the future City Free church plant. We had some meaningful one-on-one connections- sharing laughter, tears, and stories of God's faithfulness and goodness.

In City Free North, a family expressed a desire to organize a clean up day in the neighborhood.  Together, we had a crew of about 25 people with trash bags cleaning up the neighborhood and ended our time together with hot dogs and snacks.  We all reflected on how we all deserve a clean place to live!  It was a time embraced with pure joy;  there was no complaining-- just excitement to make the neighborhood look nice!  We are continuing our monthly dinner church gatherings with Village Hope Church on the 4th Wednesday at 5:30pm.

In City Free South, we had our back-to-school cookout full of ice cream and firetruck fun. It. was. a. blast. It truly felt like one big family all hanging out together!  We are continuing our monthly worship times as well with the next one coming up on Sunday, August 30.

Please be praying for:

- One of our families was involved in a car accident (mom, mom's sister, daughter, and son).   All are okay, but report being very sore and shaken up from the accident
- A new school year for our City Free families and all the mixed emotions that come with that
- Provision for families- the need is always great and a path forward often feels discouraging and hopeless
- Continued wisdom, guidance, and joy for City Free as we embrace this new season of planting
